IN HER SHOES
Chest is out, chin in the air
Gay-y confidence catwalk.
Heels do the talking
Engaging the floor,
Ka ka ka ka
Ko ko ko ko
Dress to kill, makeup on point
You will look again.
Humming in the hallway
Heels sing along,
Ka ka ka ka
Ko ko ko ko
A soul searching to belong
A girl looking for home.
Blagged respect
Heart leaps in joy and heels say,
Ka ka ka ka
Ko ko ko ko
Shoes off, heart sinks
Nothing left, all is stripped.
But tomorrow will come
And gay-y heels will sing,
Ka ka ka ka
Ko ko ko ko.
