WELCOME BACK MISS SANITY
Oh welcome back Miss Sanity
In your absence we wept
For on that rugged path we trolled
As peddlers peddled
And hustlers hustled
In your absence we got lost
Whispers so light fluttered through our ears
Like soft wind on harmattan night
They asked, has Miss Sanity left so soon?
Oh poor Miss Sanity has suffered so
Alas alas alas woe on these people
Ruled by pot bellies who know it all but know nothing
At last we wake to see Miss Sanity
Coming to the willing
She’s here with pride, you know
Sticking to none if not all
Come, big man, say hello to Miss Sanity
For in her presence there is sanity.
