You feel the rush
On the outside and the inside
Flying in a weird celestial space, but not quite.
Life is different; something different inside of you.
Oddly, it feels natural
To have the waves push you around like an inferior toy;
It is your job to let them let you go
As you stay in the water where tides flay you about
You are not the main attraction
The water is what keeps you grounded.
Pay your respects
Let the waves take you where they may and just go with it,
Savor the fun
Let the sun soak into your skin.
You are in the water
While water is around you, let it cover you
Let it pull you, let it throw you,
Its presence is powerful, true indeed
But it has no power over you.
