And how I could count on you
Never forgetting how much you cared
My memories of you
Always there to turn to
Thoughtful, unselfish, and kind
So proud of you, a mother who
Was all of these combined
It was you who taught me values
And always to be there
But most of all, was the lesson of love
And yours was everywhere
I know I will always remember
When I’m alone with my thoughts
And stay close to me forever
The happiness you brought
So now as you sleep with the angels
Watching over you
My memories, I’ll forever keep
