FLASH FLOOD
Feelings bubble inside,
Like boiling lava.
A volcano ready to erupt,
A storm making its way up.
But I push them down,
Say ‘Nevermind,
I don’t want to bother.’
And wonder when
All the built up emotions
Will come out in words I’ll regret.
A dam about to break,
A river ready to flood.
