DIFFICULT TO DO
It seems a lot of work.
Looks difficult, somehow.
But if it’s got to be done,
The best time is now.
Often the daunting task,
Is one not yet begun.
Put your hand to the plough,
The battle is half-won.
Finding the right moment,
Can be the trickiest part.
It will never really come,
That perfect time to start.
And each little task,
Not done as at when due,
Stacks up into that workload,
You just seem to rue.
Roll your sleeves, have at it.
Bit by bit, blow by blow.
The whole challenge will yield,
Even before you know.
It will take initiative,
Some moxie, to see it through.
But worth that sweet satisfaction,
That is awaiting you.
