WRONG
সাত সাগরের ওপারে চিরকাল কাটিয়ে
রোজ সাগর সৈকতে লুটোপুটি খেলাম ;
বালি,নুড়িপাথর, শামুকের খোল কুড়িয়ে
সমুদ্রতীর ঢুঁড়ে যদি জলে না নামি
সমুদ্রতীর থেকে সাত পা দূরে থাকি বা সাত ক্রোশ,
একচুলও এদিক ওদিক সব শূন্যের মতো;
ভুলভুলাইয়ার মধ্যে হাবুডুবু খেলে
সমুদ্র স্নানের অভিজ্ঞতাও মস্ত গোল হয়ে যায়।
গন্তব্য পথে পূর্ব দিকে যেতে গিয়ে পশ্চিমে গেলে
উপরে উঠতে উঠতে নীচেয় গড়াগড়ি খাই,
কখনো তীরেও তরী ডোবে
কাছে কিংবা দূরে যেখানেই লক্ষ্যভ্রষ্ট হই না কেন,
শূন্য ছোট হোক বা বড়, ভুল সে ভুলই!
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
Having spent forever beyond the seven seas
Playing loot on the Rose Sea beach;
Collect sand, gravel, snail shells
If you enter the seashore and do not get into the water
I live seven feet or seven krosh from the sea-shore,
Even a single hair here and there is like nothing;
Habudubu plays in the midst of Bhulbulaiya
The sea bathing experience is also great.
Going east on the way to the destination and going west
To climb up, to tumble down,
Sometimes the tide will sink on the shore
No matter where near or far I stray,
Whether the zero is small or large, wrong is wrong!
