WRITING A POEM
Writing a poem seems easy,
right?
All you need to do is write words on paper,
It’s like loving someone.
You express feelings.
It seems pretty simple,
Right?
But,
It’s not.
There’s heartbreak if there isn’t enough love.
There’s tears, shattered hearts, and unfulfilled desires.
It’s rough,
It’s hard,
It’s complicated,
And it’s not easy.
But writing a poem is just like that.
A poem can be anything; portray anything.
Sadness, anger, loneliness, happiness,
And Love.
But you,
You and I,
Our love was something that couldn’t be portrayed.
Couldn’t be expressed
Couldn’t be said out loud
Couldn’t be
Simple.
It was hard, rough, and unfair
Was there love or was it just a
Poem.
A poem,
Not simple
Not easy
But not hard.
Just
Nothing but words on paper.
