SCORN NOT HIS SIMPLICITY ~BY ROBERT MCBRIDE

SCORN NOT HIS SIMPLICITY

In the depths of a world so complex,
Lies a heart untouched, filled with innocence.
Amid the chaos, a soul shines through,
Scorn not his simplicity, for it holds wisdom anew.

An ethereal smile graces his face,
Radiating warmth, like the sun’s gentle embrace.
In his eyes, a depth of pure delight,
Where genuine joy twinkles, shining so bright.

In a world clouded by material desires,
He finds beauty in simple things, fueling the fires.
The whisper of wind, the autumn leaves’ dance,
A butterfly’s flight, a random happenstance.

He finds joy in laughter, so effortlessly,
Unburdened by worries, his spirit flies free.
For him, life embraces every passing day,
A precious gift, not to be taken away.

Scorn not his simplicity, as it is his strength,
Unveiling the truth, where harmony is sent.
In the quiet stillness, he finds peace,
A refuge from complexities that never cease.

In a world where minds become entwined,
He reminds us to cherish moments, hard to find.
For in his simplicity, there lies a truth,
That life’s treasures bloom in the simplest of youth.

So let us learn from this soul, so pure,
To embrace simplicity, and find our cure.
For in the humblest of hearts, we can see,
The true essence of life’s extraordinary beauty.
