SCENT OF PINEAPPLE
A run through the soft, golden sand
The sun’s radiant rays
Yellow hues shimmering through savouring succulent fruits
Sun’s gentle kiss bestows a tan
No sunburns,
Just warmth
Vibrant hues envelop the shore
Bikinis dotting the coastline
Granules of sand underfoot
Crystalline waters beckon
And the sweet scent of pineapple
Permeates the air
Awakening appetites
What a glorious day at the beach
Echoes of children’s laughter fill the air
As the sun dips below the horizon
Nature’s canvas ignites with hues
Finally,
A day fully alive and thriving.
