RAINBOWS
Your gaze rushed at me like waterfalls
Dropping rainbows on my heart
Blood red shades rolled up my cheeks
Roses envied my colour
The sun coveted my light
The moon borrowed my reflection
Dreams wait on me to dream of you
Now, there’s warmth in the air
So, candles I must light
Bouquets I must buy
A time and day to set
To walk up to you
To find a new beginning.
