MY SOULMATE
Amidst the rain’s fall,
Skies so cold and dark,
Whispers of love in pain,
Curtains sway gently in dim light.
Breezes chanting on our final night,
Thunder roars its discontent,
Nature’s plea to unite us,
As if our bond was predestined,
In the striking lightning’s glow,
I catch a glimpse of your eyes,
Tears pouring like diamonds,
Each drop felt precious.
As you weep,
I feel every sigh you release,
I long to bring you peace and joy,
To guide you through eternity.
Though fate’s grasp holds me beside,
I’ll reach out to you one day,
Somehow, somehow.
If this life pulls us apart,
In the next life, I’ll come to you,
To reunite, heart to heart,
Forever.
