I HAVE
I have touched the farthest ends of oceans
Thrust my head into the mouths of sharks
Swam alongside the smiles of dolphins
Drowned in waves that reached the depths of hell
I have kissed the moon’s gentle reflection
The night’s tender caress
Shadows of whispers breathing into dreams
Drank chaos in the midst of silence
Shivered in the quiet of violence
I have longed for that which was within
I have longed within from without
The soul’s doorway to God
I have touched, I have kissed
I have met me in all of it.
