ECHOES OF SOLITUDE ~BY KEEGAN MOSBY

ECHOES OF SOLITUDE -A Lament in the Shadows

In shadows deep, my soul does weep,
A lament of sorrow, buried deep.
Each day a struggle, each night a fight,
In the abyss of darkness, I lose my light.

No friends to hold, no laughter near,
Just solitude’s embrace, my only peer.
A social life, a distant dream,
In loneliness’ grasp, I silently scream.

No taste of joy, no feast to sate,
Hunger gnaws, an endless state.
With family gone, an empty home,
I wander aimless, lost and alone.

Fatigue weighs heavy, burdened sighs,
In weariness, my spirit lies.
Miserable echoes, relentless sound,
In the desolate landscape, I am bound.
