DEAD….I WALK ~BY OMUHLE BABALWA

DEAD….I WALK

This battle of love and hate
To death I can see the gate,
Blind, I fall in a ditch
The pain then changes the pitch,
I scream to no avail
To God I then send a mail,
To tell Him that I suffer
It’s worse, worse than hunger,
I walk on paths the eyes can’t see
Can’t pinch myself to check it’s me,
Dream or not it feels so true
Late or not, the pain is due,
Oh please save me, save me God
This life is strange, really odd,
I bleed and seek forgiveness for my sins
Desire for freedom, reality pins,
Tell me when, when I’ll be free?
And be a bird, oh that I could be,
But then the path, the path I walk
Only the pain does the talk,
Life is pain, so dead I still walk
