A BAKERY ADVENTURE
Angelina,
A young girl,
On her way to her local bakery,
In her pink jumpsuit with red hearts and matching low heels,
With her bunny on a leash,
Cherry blossoms cover the ground around her
As she walks,
Thoughts of cake ingredients fill her mind,
Particularly for a Strawberry Shortcake,
Strawberries,
Syrupy sauce,
Butter,
White sugar,
Flour,
and more will grace her creation,
She plans a tea party,
Starting in the late afternoon, with her bunnies’ friends,
She will be pouring tea,
And serving her strawberry shortcake
Before the bakery,
She’s greeted by vibrant pinks and blues,
Rainbows adorning each window ledge,
She then enters the building,
Observing the bustling workers,
Approaching the worker behind the counter,
She speaks with words of:
‘Hello! Can I purchase a strawberry shortcake, please
As the worker nods and writes it down,
It starts being baked,
Angelina waited up to
20-40 minutes,
Then,
Given a cardboard container with the delicious shortcake inside,
Upon arriving home to her beautiful pink Gingerbread cottage,
Her bunny companions now present,
Opening the cardboard container,
She slices a piece of strawberry goodness for each bunny
These bunnies were special,
As they eat,
They turn a rosy strawberry pink!
It showed their enjoyment,
Gratefulness,
And happiness,
The soft Bunnies and Angelina chat over tea and cake,
Strawberry stains adorn their faces
With the meal finished,
They wipe cakes from their faces,
Thanked Angelina for the meal,
If only everyone were like these bunnies.
