ONE MORE STROKE
People’s hearts broke
In a glimpse, it is to invoke
The concern it woke
Sometime has gone
Since the last planted thorn
Souls it left torn
For long nights to mourn
We thought a new day had come
Doors of fright came to slam
A past remembrance to cram
For a better tomorrow to plan
No matter the fears we feel
Standing erect we shall like steel
Face our fate believing in the ideal
To a new dawn, all threats will soon kneel.
