PRIDE OVER HUMANITY: ISRAEL AND PALESTINE DISPUTE
Children are crying,
thousand hearts are paining,
Armies of both sides getting ready,
To make something steady.
After a long period of peace,
The sounds have come, without release,
They came with no shame,
Took thousands of innocent lives, what a tragic game.
Israel and Palestine, in an endless fight,
War’s terror shatters both day and night,
Streets are covered with blood,
The flow is like a relentless flood.
Holes fill every space in the mud,
No more flowers, not even a single bud.
Terror is at its peak,
Peace is what we urgently seek.
It’s not about strong or weak,
This situation is extremely bleak,
A thousand hearts plea,
To stop war and violence, let humanity be the decree,
Not to sacrifice humanity for mere national pride.
A bridge of hope, let’s build anew,
In understanding and empathy, let’s pursue,
For every soul, let compassion’s love accrue,
Don’t let pride or hatred continue.
Don’t sacrifice humanity for the flags that flew,
In unity, let dignity and harmony’s vision ensue.
