TEMPORARY TRANQUILITY~ BY SAMIKSHA SUNWAR AND MANASWINI JHA
I’m just breathing in oxygen,
Why’s it got to be so hard?
All this air, trapped in my chest,
Like a noose tightening in the dark.
I’m just breathing in oxygen,
Why’s it got to be so hard?
All this air, trapped in my chest,
Like a noose tightening in the dark.
In the calm dawn of hope’s first gleam,
I was just a dreamer—a girl with a dream.
A world of colours, a canvas so wide,
With hope as my compass,
And nowhere to hide.
Jesus,
Your immutable Holy Spirit,
Alongside that very long-awaited special visit,
Invisible-coloured tears shaped as raindrops oozing down,
Making the red devil satan a painted clown,
Your Majesty authority felt,
Like a hard strike on the leg from a belt
As the dawn breaks, a new light shines,
Promises of the future woven in its beams.
Yet worries sometimes creep in like shadows,
Casting doubts that run so deep in our souls.
Beneath the sky, where dusk meets the sea
A wild expanse of magic, untamed and free
The whispering sea moves, a steady refrain,
Like a woman’s gaze, her power to explain,
how she holds the strength of tides within her soul.
In those quiet moments when the world settles down,
I find my thoughts intertwining with yours, all around.
They fill the empty spaces of my longing heart,
Creating a tender ache that never wants to part.
Lovely to know
It is time to fly – rather flee
chained in the sockets of politeness.
My persona wished
to chase the unknown in the waters
blue and green
Each Song A Phrase Of Chattering Color.
Each Baby, Each Bird, Each Song, Each Mother
In A Fluttering Sip, A Game Paradise
Today I heard you.
Who are you?
You are something that is me, I know now.
Why did we make that choice? Why did I choose this?
Today you showed an arm.
Don’t waste your flowers on my grave
don’t weep for me
I won’t care.
When night falls and the new dark
is not so dark, after all
don’t look to the stars
I won’t be there.
