☀️ You’re the Moon, I’m the Sun🌙
You’re the moon – calm, perfect, admired by all,
Everywhere you go, eyes follow your call.
People write poems, confess their hearts too,
While I just stand behind, clapping for you.
You shine in peace, so much adored,
While I keep burning, yet mostly ignored.
They talk about your glow, your charm, your grace,
And I’m just the one holding the camera in place.
You borrow a bit of my light every night,
Still, somehow, you’re the one shining bright.
They say you’re so mysterious and rare,
But no one asks if I’m even there.
I never hated you — I swear, I didn’t.
But love feels heavy when it’s never given.
I tried to be proud, to not compare,
Yet it hurts when I’m invisible, standing right there.
You’re the moon — everyone’s muse,
I’m the sun — left with no excuse.
Still, I’ll rise every morning for you, my friend,
Even if my warmth is too much for them to understand.
