WHAT IF
What if
One day
Death came knocking
The two of you sat down
And then started talking
You pled
“I’m not ready!”
“I’m not done with my life!”
He looked at you
And said
(In a tone almost mocking)
“Be that as it may,
we’d best be on our way.
Your time here is done.
Let us make haste,
I’ve lots of work to do,
and it’s a very busy place.
I’ll show you the door.
That’s it
It’s done.
No more “
