THE ARRIVAL
রুপালি চাঁদের নিচে রাতের খোঁজে আসি না
কিছু কাজ আছে, কিছু কথা আছে
এবং কিছু কর্তব্য যা অসম্ভব
সব তারাকে একসঙ্গে দেখতে আসিনি;
নিজের ইচ্ছায় নয় এখানে আসুন
আমার আগমনের বার্তা চন্দ্র-সূর্য, গ্রহ-নক্ষত্ররা জানে।
কারোর গ্রহণ বা অস্বীকারের জন্য আমি দায়ী নই।
পাহাড় ভেঙ্গে সমতল হলে তাতে আঘাত হানবে
লোহিত সাগর উপচে পড়ছে;
আমি একটা দ্বীপে পরিণত হয়েছি একটা তুচ্ছ-তাচ্ছিল্যময় পৃথিবীর মাঝে,
পশুরা আমাকে চারদিক থেকে ঘিরে রেখেছে
উপস্থিতির কারণ জানতে চায় না;
জানে কেউ পরিকল্পনা নিয়ে আসে না
তাদের দৃঢ় বিশ্বাস, আমি তাদের দলের একজন।
ENGLISH TRANSLATION
I do not come in search of night under a silver moon
There is some work, some talk
And some duties that are impossible
I did not come to see all the stars together;
Come here not of your own free will
The message of my arrival is known by the moon, sun, planets, and stars.
I am not responsible for anyone’s acceptance or denial.
If the mountain is broken and flat, it will be hit by it
The Red Sea overflows;
I became an island in the midst of a topsy-turvy world,
Animals surrounded me from all sides
Does not want to know the reason for the presence;
Knows that no one comes with a plan
Their firm belief, I am one of their team.
