THE ALPHABET POEM ~BY WENDEL CABARON

THE ALPHABET POEM

In a passage where letters flow,
Each alphabet, in rhythmic glow,
A linguistic dance, a wondrous show.

Astonishingly, Aardvarks chase,
Beneath the stars, they find their space,
Creating dreams in this lettered embrace.

Delightful, ‘E’ in ethereal flight,
Flickers like fireflies in the night,
Gleaming ‘G’ follows, pure and bright.

Hovering ‘H’ with grace they glide,
Intricacies woven, side by side,
Juxtaposed, they can’t hide.

Kangaroos hop, ‘K’ by ‘K’ they leap,
Larks serenade, the secrets they keep,
Mysteries within the night’s sweep.

Nestled ‘M,’ like roots in earth,
‘N’ caresses, giving life its worth,
‘O’ circles around, defining its girth.

Perched ‘P’ on a branch so high,
‘Q’ on a quest to reach the sky,
‘R’ stands tall, none can deny.

Sailboats drift, guided by ‘S,’
‘T’ flows gently, without distress,
Underneath the moon’s soft caress.

Vivid ‘U’ cascades with pride,
Whispering ‘V’ along for the ride,
Xylophones play, no secrets to hide.

Yellowfin swim, ‘Y’ and ‘Z’ so fine,
Zephyrs carry a tale, in a serpentine line,
In this poem, the alphabet does entwine.

Every letter, each shape and sound,
In unity, they’re forever bound,
A linguistic masterpiece, profound.
