LIKE A RIVER THAT FLOWS
Like a river that flows
On a winter’s day when it snows
Taking away dreams that we grow
Slowly, with winds that blow
Shall we still believe in a heart, now, hollow?
Or give up a tomorrow that might glow?
What would you do if you were feeling low?
The skies’ ears would it care, would it bestow?
Its blessings, would it throw?
its mercy would it show?
For all my passion, all my patience, now, row!
