LEAVE THAT DREAM
Shattered to pieces that stubbornness died
The tears eventually dried.
How long can these eyes ever cry?
No longer does this melancholic heart feels upset.
Solely, it acquainted with disappointment.
Never in my darkest nightmares did I imagine.
But, maybe that self esteem was fragile.
Each fragment fixed and enacted with hope,
Shattered to pieces like a broken dream.
But…
This absurd mind is yet to give up.
Thought, segregated yet somehow piled up.
Leave that dream!
Not till the last breath.
Determination is yet to take the lead
That dream can’t be left.
Though broken it yet persisted.
That story is yet to be written
Ought to be completed.
Leave that dream?
Not till the last breath,
Aspiration is yet to take the lead.
