HUMANS
Much like a fern’s slow dance,
At first,
you glimpse the quaint, spiralled stance,
A green embrace, a coiled ballet,
Shielding its heart,
tucked away.
When the moment is right,
The verdant scroll unfurls in delight.
Leaves unfolding like ribbons twined
Emerging more than the mind’s foresight.
And upon each new leaf,
another surprise,
A miniature world,
under nature’s guise.
There may be more,
beyond our grasp.
For the human eye reaches its limits,
alas.
