REUNION OF SCHOOL CLASSMATES
Thirty years gone, memories stay
Faces familiar, yet changed with time’s sway
Laughter echoes, nostalgia’s rhyme
Do you know? What bound us tight, in school’s prime?
Was it books or games, a secret delight?
He’s my bestie, she’s my candy sweet, shining bright
Moments fleeting, yet forever true
A clue to our bond, forever new
Time flew far, memories painted gold
Worth a thousand smiles, stories to be told
Seventeen, full of life, every step a new sight
Fears whispered low, dreams shouted loud, in delight
Now grey hair shines, time’s gentle hand
Yet memories linger, forever grand
We reminisce, hearts still young and bright
Reunion’s magic, a timeless sight.
