HER BURIAL UNKNOWN
She got those gorgeous brown eyes,
So deep that one couldn’t return, even if they tried,
Perhaps it’s due to the precious tears she cries.
Left with none to wipe her eyes.
Her eyes, filled with tears,
Bounded by so many fears.
She searched for “HER HIRAETH’’ for half of her life,
Unaware, broken souls like us belong nowhere,
better to dwell in the “deep ocean of pain’’,
Where happiness seems rare.
In the day’s glow, she smiles so brightly
leaving no mark of her grief in sight,
Fooling the world around with the gleam so light,
But at the end of the day when she’s left alone
Only the moon knows the tears she’s shown.
Even though her scars weren’t visible,
She bled every day in the grief of being easily resistible.
Her mother questioned, “Why does my daughter seem so lifeless
like a flower wilting, in the night so restless?”
She whispered to her mother softly, “Your daughter passed away decades ago,
it’s just HER BURIAL WAS LEFT UNKNOWN,” sadly.
